This weekend Steinert Robotics, Zero Gravity, attended the New Jersey Regional. During competiiton the team did very well. At the end of the qualifying matches we were in 8th place out of 63 teams. There was a great deal of work being done by the team as well. Between final touches on the programming, and scouting out other teams in the competition the team accomplished a lot. Pictures from the competitiong are availible for viewing in the gallery. The team is now getting ready for the Philadelphia Regional. The robot is already shipped and on it's way to the next competition! A wrap up meeting for the NJ Regional will be held sometime in the next few weeks. Keep looking here for more updates!

The Team participated at Hamilton's Septemberfest in Veterans Park. We sold water, gatorade, and candy to raise funds for the team. The robot was also riding around in the street, but instead of a intertube in it's claw it was holding a donations bucket.

On Wednesday May 16 the team made a presentation in front of the Board of Education. The PowerPoint Presentation can be downloaded here.

The Steinert Robotics Team is made up of students balls from freshmen to seniors. These guys love to work with and learn more about technology, manufacturing, electronics, robotics, and science. The team members have to work together, sometimes in a stressful environment, to achieve their goal of not only building a robot, but doing well in the various competitions that they are involved in. It is a high goal that this rookie team has set for themselves, but through teamwork and cooperation they can win the competitions.
